Acrolysis: Released Second Single ‘The Inevitable' From Upcoming Album "Intoxicator"

Australian heavy metal band Acrolysis are releasing their second single The Inevitable from their upcoming sophomore album, Intoxicator today. The song is a four minute melodic and harmonic groove-fest, taking the known songwriting and sound of the band and taking it to its furthest capability.

Thematically, the song is introspective, delving into the ideas of self reflection and regret. It discusses and explores the inevitability of the consequences of decisions that people make and in hindsight, how these consequences were almost a guarantee.

The song, ‘The Inevitable’ definitely talks about consequences and regret. I think we can all relate to the experience of making a choice, whether it be getting into a relationship, a job or whatever and ignoring the obvious negatives that sort of spell out why it won’t work. Yet, we choose to ignore them and go ahead with it anyway. Then, when the inevitable happens we look back and realise that it was always bound to go poorly. That’s what this song really is about. Ignoring the writing on the wall and making choices and decisions that won’t turn out well for us. And only in hindsight can we see that those choices were bound to lead to failure” - Konstantine Ana

The Inevitableis available from today May 1st, 2025 on all major platforms.
