Helena Casella lanceert Conclusions

Belgian-Brazilian artist, composer and vocalist Helena Casella returns today with “Conclusions”, the seconds single of her second full album ‘Tumult’ she will be releasing through W.E.R.F. Records in February 2027. She will present this album on March 6 in AB Brussels, where she is also artist in residence.

Blending the warmth of neo-soul, the freedom of jazz and the emotional directness of contemporary R&B, Helena Casella has been steadily carving out a singular musical universe of her own. Defined by organic arrangements, intimate storytelling and a voice that is both tender and arresting, her work balances vulnerability with striking musical sophistication.

Following the critical acclaim of her debut album “Pit of Impressions”, Helena now unveils “Conclusions”: a song about how love is everywhere, in what we have, in our imagination, and in the idea of a perfect world. It’s about that irresistible feeling of euphoria, and how hard it can be to hold on to it. As Belgian magazine “Knack Focus” wrote about Helena's debut: "Although Helena Casella seamlessly intertwines R&B, jazz and neo-soul, she enriches them with touches of classical music, funk and psychedelia, but above all with remarkable maturity."

Released in 2024, “Pit of Impressions” established Helena Casella as one of Belgium's most compelling emerging voices, earning widespread critical praise and leading to performances at renowned festivals and venues including Gent Jazz, Jazz Middelheim, Les Nuits Botanique, Brussels Jazz Festival, Confluent Jazz Namur, Fifty Lab and COOL Festival.

Together with her band (featuring Agus Fulka, Max Sergeant and Léa Kadian) Helena has developed a live reputation that matches the emotional depth and musical richness of her recordings. That momentum has increasingly extended beyond Belgium. In recent months, Helena performed at London's

Brick Lane Jazz Festival and The Jazz Café, while appearances at Dutch festivals including Motel Mozaïque and Into The Great Wide Open further expanded her international profile. Upcoming performances in France, Hong Kong and Macau mark the next chapter in her rapidly growing trajectory.
