Jess Glynne, as solid as the Matterhorn on Zermatt Unplugged

Jess Glynne, the London girl and musician, has become in a very fast way famous, after the succesfull single ‘Rather Be’.(in collaboration with the band Clean Bandits). Tonight the Zermatt audience welcomed her with a huge enthusiasm in the Marquee tent. Nobody could stay seated.

Jess Glynne had the honour to close the Marquee on the last festival day. The very long acoustic bell-ringing of the Zermatt church this evening, gave her undoubtedly a warm welcome! After the warming up with ‘Rather be’, Jess commemorated the victims of Stockholm by singing intensely ‘My love’, what a memorable moment! Lighting of the mobiles everywhere, for the last time in the Marquee this year.

Amy Winehouse rises again for 5 minutes in Zermatt with ‘Tears dry on their own’. Then the show must go on with a very jazzy, soul & disco set. “Should we shake a leg? Come on!”

Highlights of the evening were the very slow version of ‘Real love’, her dance-moves with the backing vocals and ‘I feel for you’, originally of Chaka Khan. Jess Glynne said goodbye with a brilliant dancing ending..........’Hold my hand’. Tomorrow she wanted to go skiing, on the highest mountain or was it just a joke?
