Melanie De Biasio shares new video 'All My Worlds' directed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino
The video for new track All My Worlds sees Melanie De Biasio teamed up with world renowned photographer / director Jean-Baptiste Mondino on directorial duties – the pair having first met on a French radio station where Mondino alluded to his love of her music and in particular, Lilies. With an illustrious CV both photographically and video wise having worked with the likes of Bjork, Madonna and Bryan Ferry, Mondino alongside De Biasio has created a stunning monochromatic partner for All My Worlds.
The stunning visual partner, sympathetic and evocative in its simplicity was an amalgamation of both directors’ ideas as Mondino explains; “Initially the idea was to make a video in the most simple and emotional way. Despite my having some doubts, Melanie convinced me that she didn’t want to sing, not even a single sentence and then we started to record and the very first shot conveyed the magic that was there as she already knew. It was an incredible experience for me, her talent and her conviction...I’ll never be able to thank her enough for opening my eyes, my ears and my heart like she has.”
