Swiss singer, songwriter and performer NNAVY today announces her debut album, I’ll Wait For You, out October 30th. Led by first single “Slowly Burning” — out now with an accompanying video — it is the first full-length statement from one of the most compelling new voices in contemporary soul and R&B.

Grief, resilience, desire, self-worth: I’ll Wait For You is a record about the people we hold onto and the ones we learn to hold at a distance. Across twelve songs, NNAVY moves between R&B, soul and jazz, turning private reckonings — with love, with her body, with loss — into music built for a room full of people. It is intimate without ever being small.

“Slowly Burning” arrived in late June as the first glimpse of the album, and it sets the emotional tone for everything that follows: a defiant, full-bodied opener that announces exactly the kind of record I’ll Wait For You is going to be.

“This song was born from a feeling of impending doom,” says NNAVY. “I’m in my late twenties, and it often feels like the world is burning around us. I wanted to write a song for one last ride on the carousel — if the sun didn’t rise again tomorrow, then let’s dance, let’s laugh, let’s have fun one last time.”

It’s the record’s invitation: a soulful, defiant call to feel everything while there’s still time — and the clearest possible introduction to NNAVY as a songwriter, a voice, and a lead artist ready to carry a full album.

Since its release, “Slowly Burning” has earned strong support at DSPs, landing on Spotify’s Queen and R&B Weekly, Apple Music’s New Music Daily and Alpha Women, and further placements across Pandora and Vevo’s curated playlists. Vevo has also named NNAVY a Vevo DSCVR artist, with the platform set to support the video across its social channels.
