Bastille mag zich sinds vandaag trotse eigenaar noemen van een platina debuutplaat in België en viert dat met een Belgische editie van “All This Bad Blood”. De groep voegt 7 live tracks en 1 nieuw nummer toe waaronder hit ‘Pompeii’ live op Rock Werchter 2014 en opnames van de begindagen in de studio’s van MNM en Studio Brussel.
Bastille zette in 2013 hun triomftocht in met mega hit “Pompeii”. Na Engeland gingen naast België en andere Europese landen ook Amerika en Zuid-Afrika voor de bijl. Intussen mag je hen gerust een wereldgroep noemen. Bastille verkocht meer dan 3 miljoen stuks van debuut “Bad Blood” waarvan meer dan 1 miljoen in Europa en 1 miljoen in Amerika. In januari worden de pijlen op Azië gericht en trekken ze naar China, Maleisië, Singapore en de Filippijnen voor een nieuwe concertreeks.
Maar het begon ooit allemaal in ons kleine land. België was één van de eerste landen die de groep mocht verwelkomen voor promotie bij radio en voor concerten. Op 16 maanden tijd speelden ze 5 keer in België. Van de kleine AB Club naar de Marquee op Rock Werchter 2013, gevolgd door AB grote zaal, Lotto Arena en Main Stage Rock Werchter 2014. Elke zaal mocht het bordje ‘uitverkocht’ boven halen.
Het enthousiasme van het Belgische publiek bleef bij de groep niet onopgemerkt en dus bundelen ze hun beste herinneringen op een deluxe dubbelaar met 7 extra live tracks:

“We’re thrilled to release this new All This Bad Blood Belgium edition. Belgium has been a really special country for us since we first released our album and took it outside of the UK. We remember our first radio visits to Studio Brussel and MNM early in 2013 and we've picked two acoustic tracks to go on this album. It was one of our first European promo trips so we were all pretty excited and remember it well! It’s crazy how things evolved since that visit, the first of many. From playing at the small AB Club straight to the Marquee at Rock Werchter in the Summer of 2013. It was a boiling hot gig but we were blown away by how many people came to see us, and how many people watched from outside the tent! Thank you.In winter you joined us for a sold out show at the AB main hall which was a great way to end the first crazy year. After some fun radio showcases and our gig at the Lotto Arena in early 2014 (the sea of lights during Oblivion was incredible to see), getting to play on the Main Stage at Rock Werchter 2014 was such an amazing end to our album campaign.This time no burning sun but pouring rain… That didn’t stop all 40,000 of you going crazy with us during "Of The Night" and using your rain capes as flags during Pompeii. What an amazing view.
